One of the employment support projects stipulated in the Act on Comprehensive Support for Persons with Disabilities (former Act on Support for Independence of Persons with Disabilities). The aim is to provide employment opportunities to people with disabilities who find it difficult to find employment in general companies, and to provide disability welfare services such as training necessary to improve their knowledge and skills through production activities. This is an "employment-type" disability welfare service that concludes employment contracts with people with disabilities and, in principle, guarantees minimum wages. At Himawari Welfare Office, we aim to improve knowledge and skills through work, and provide training for general employment.
